Working in Nepal while in tourist visa

I arrived in Nepal in a tourist visa to review project performance in Nepal. I obtained a tourist visa at Tribhuvan International airport. Now my headquarter wants to extend my stay in Nepal for another two months and assist the project. My remuneration would be paid by headquarter in Spain. It is not practical for me to obtain work permit for such as short period. So, will it be legally permissible for me to work while on tourist visa?
