What are the procedures to be followed to obtain approval from DOI?

The requirements depend on if it is to obtain approval for FDI or for technology transfer.

Any foreign individual or firms or company that are willing to do either one or combination of the following activities will have to get prior approval from the DOI.  

The related sections at DOI are Foreign Investment Section and the License/Registration Section.
